Tessa had her 9 month checkup this morning. Not surprisingly, she is at the top of the charts for height and weight.. She is 29.5 inches long (100 percentile), and 21.5 lbs (90 percentile). I always knew she was big for her age, but that proved it. All in all she is perfect, no problems, just gotta keep up with her growth and buying her new clothes!!
Next appt. is 1 yr checkup. That is scary, it is getting really close. Man, time has flown by!!

Crazy Summer!!
This has been one crazy summer!! In the last month alone, the girls have spent a week with Grammy and Poppy, we have spent the day at the beach, had a garage sale, went to Higgin's lake for a weekend, and went to Gma and Papa's house for a weekend. Whew! The summer has really flown by. We are kinda looking forward to hitting the brakes next month and spending some quiet weekends at home. Before that, we are going to Mackinac Island with Grammy and Poppy, Clyde, Amy, and Erika and Mack! That should be a blast!!
I will update this blog on a weekly basis (hopefully) to keep up with our travelings and the growth of the girls!
Here are a few pics of the last few weeks!
Tessa is having a great time at the beach...she refused to nap because the thought she would miss out on some of the fun!!! Silly girl
Avery and her favorite pastime!! Playing in the sand. Here, Mack is helping her, but probably just keeping her in check!! Thanks mack
Avery and her cousin Quentin playing in my mom and dad's backyard. It was a very hot day and we got out the little pool for them (and me as it turns out) to splash in!! They had a great time.
Here, Avery makes sure that Jack and Quent have enough water in their bowls..this was the funniest part of the day!
Quent and Jack did their best impression of a doggie, while licking out of the bowls! The water was all full of grass from their feet, but that didn't matter. As you can see, Quent skipped the licking and went straight to slurping huge mouthfuls of water out!!
We had a great time and look forward to playing next time.....
